I love doing my “Finds Post” because when someone tells me about somethingthat I did not  know about or a product that seems interesting to me, I am the type person that will search until I can find it and then give it a try….I have my “personal finds” and then some great Purse Advertiser Finds today.  Hope you will see something that you want to give a try…..  While it is on my mind, I have been at different places lately, when several people have told me about a “find” that they wanted me to try and share on the “purse” BUT you know my memory—not good…So please email them to me at pennyg@scottsboro.org

I have always used Clinique Face Soap as long as I can remember.  BUT, I don’t get to get to Huntsville as often I used to so I did a little asking around to see what facial soaps people use and several told me about this soap, Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.  I have been using it for about 4 months now and I love it!!!  It is a mild soap and is for ALL skin types.  It also makes your face so soft too.  You can get it at Walmart or any Pharmacy.  You may want to give it a try.  It comes in a pump (which is what I use), bars and then there are other Cetaphil products too.  Face Soap is all that I use.

I am not a big coffee drinker in the summer but come winter, I love my coffee to start my morning off.  I love Coffee Mate Creamers too.  I usually do not like the “powder” creamer but rather prefer the “liquid”   But these Coffee-Mate  “packets” are really good.  They come in original and french vanilla.  So if you do not have time to get coffee at home and have to run by and pick up a cup- you can just use one of your Coffee-Mate Packets- just make sure you have them stashed in your car, purse or somewhere they can be at “grabs” whenever you need them.

 

My sister, Candi, shared this “Find” with me.  She actually brought me one let the girls try.  MM has already put one of them to good use. (come 2 in a pack).  They are the Colgate “WISP“.  If you are like me sometimes, you have to REMIND, REMIND and THEN REMIND some more, “Did you brush your teeth?”.  Well, these are for those times when THEY DID NOT BRUSH and you do not have time to go back to the house for them to take care of this “task”.  You need no water and there need be no rinsing.  Just brush and go.  One end of the little “wisp” has a pic and the other is the brush with toothpaste already in the brush area.  After they are through- toss in the trash.  Yes, I realize I should not give another option for brushing teeth but some days, you just do not have time to “try it again”…  This does not mean that they get off easy- I assure you that they will be punished in some way for not doing what they were suppose to do without even being ask….Ha!  I am sure this is where my Jimmy would roll his eyes at me for that comment.. (He thinks that I am too easy on them..ha!) So, if you want to get you a pack of “wisp” and just put them in the car or purse, you will have them for those “aggravating times“..(just don’t tell them about them)

This is one of my Advertiser Finds….The Market is coming to life again and before we know it, you will be able to find anything that your heart desires- when it comes to the “outdoorsy”, “all-natural”, “green”, and even the “fun stuff” that requires you to NOT sweat and WORK!!! ha!  These are “Envbags”.  We all know how “recycling” is so important today but then we just never think about getting one of the “green bags” or reusable bags that they advertise and have on the isles at Walmart as you check out. (if you are like me, when you come to those bags at the check out and then look at my buggy- I realize that I have no more extra cash to spend on one. Ha!)  Well, these bags are not only CUTE but they are very inexpensive.  They are machine washable (which I love), they are made of recycled nylon and come in a TON of colors and patterns. 

You could used these for laundry, carrying your “junk” or “must have things” in and just keep it in your car. (they come in a great little zip up bag that will fit anywhere)  These would make GREAT little gifts for those ‘hard to by for people’, teacher gifts- I know they could find a use for it, and I think they would make the cutest Halloween “Trick o Treating” bags.  You could let the kid use it (even get last name monogrammed on it) and then YOU could use it after Halloween.  (Love when I can get more than one “use” out of something.)  You need to go check these out at The Market….

This next “Find” is one that I had seen at the Grocery Store but was not sure if it would be good or not.  It is Alexia products  (they say snacks on the bag but it really could be a side item). Then I saw Emeril on Martha Stewart the other day and he was serving them with a steak that  he had grilled.  So, if Emeril approves (and Martha said she did too), then I knew it was something that I should give a try.  The Jalapeno Onion Strips are very good.  There is no cooking, warming up- just open the bag and put them on the plate.  Very low maintenance.  The are also made from 100% real vegetables, contains no trans fat or artificial preservatives, flavors or colors….That should make you want to buy them even more. ha! 

Also, they come in Alexia Waffle Fries- the cheese ones are my girls favorite.  Made from 100% real vegetables, these snacks contain no trans fat or artificial preservatives, flavors, or colors.

You may not think of finding these laptops at a pawn shop but you are so wrong.  Greenback Pawn has some great laptops for sale.  So, if you are needing one for kids, a second one  or just in need of a laptop- you need to go see Tyson (my brother-in- law) at Greenback Pawn (located on the same side of the square as the BAKE SHOP!)

This past Monday, August 17th Wimberly House started their 40% OFF SALE and it will go through this  Saturday, August 22nd. (there will be some exclusions) .

You will want to go see what you can get a good deal on.  So make plans during your lunch break, after you get out of school or if you are lucky- any time you please. Ha!

They are getting new items in daily.

They also have several “Sale Racks” in their Boutique….

The above picture (sorry, it is side ways and would not cooperate with me) is of one of those great sweater “wraps” that you put around your shoulders and then the big button hold it together.  These are great for fall nights  when you just want to take something to put around you after the sun goes down.  BUT it also works well during the winter months too.  They are made of that “cozy-warm” sweater material.  The ones that I have seen in other stores are very expensive.  These are less than $30 each.  Come in MANY colors.  If you want one of these, you need to move quickly to The Wimberly House!!!  They have got this chocolate “wrap” over an off white turtle neck and it really looked sharp!!!

The next is not a “material find” but it is definitely something you will want to FIND OUT ABOUT!!!   If you are not aware of the deal that Quick Lane at Harbin Ford has going on- you need to take notice of below…..

And don’t forget about Harbin Chevrolet.  I have not driven a car in years but I would have to say that this is really good looking.  It is the Chevrolet Malibu.  When you hear the name “Malibu”, a great looking car is not what comes to mind first.   I think of either a really old “mom” car or “Malibu Barbie”…Ha!  But, you have to admit that this is really a “styling” car.  Something that I found out about the Malibu is the gas mileage it gets….  What is even better about this than the “look” is that when it comes to highway fuel usage.  It is the BEST!!!
